Geetesh Goyal, DDS
Chief Executive Officer
Doctor Goyal is a serial entrepreneur that has started businesses across several sectors including Healthcare, Restaurant and Hospitality, and Real Estate to name a few outside of the Biotech sector. In prior lives, Dr Goyal has held progressive management positions within organizations such as Abbott, J&J, IBM and Boston Scientific to name a few. He has a true passion for being the best at whatever he does and constantly thinks outside the box to engineer a solution, better than ever existed. His guidance, vision and leadership has been paramount in Human Bees’ continued success.
COO – Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Clark has spent over 10 years in the Human Capital Solutions business, partnering with start-ups to Fortune 500 companies to achieve business goals through consulting & workforce solutions. He has had consistent success growing business divisions particularly in the built environment and manufacturing industries. In addition to his years of experience, he takes great pride in developing internal teams, delivering on client expectations and driving the company brand. His past industry experience includes starting a recruiting agency, working for a tier one consulting firm and launching new business units in recruiting organizations.
Ranil Piyaratna, MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Piyaratna is responsible for oversight, performance, and P&L of all operations functions. He is a business management professional with 15+ years of experience in the life science and high tech fields. Ranil has extensive experience in scaling high-growth companies on to mergers and acquisitions. His versatile experience, strong leadership skills and tenacity to deliver has enabled him to provide incredible value in every endeavor. Ranil holds a B.S. in Biology from University of California, Davis and has a Professional Masters of Biotechnology, MBT (MS/MBA) from San Jose State University.
Sr. VP of Operations
JoAnn has been instrumental in building Human Bees. She recently relocated to California from Michigan to assist with the immense growth. She has over 11 years in staffing payroll and accounting, in addition to experience as an Auditor, she previously started her own company with a focus on tax and property management accounting and holds a degree from Eastern Michigan University Business College. JoAnn has developed the entire back-office Payroll & Accounting team for Human Bees, along with implementing processes and procedures to ensure client satisfaction. She is responsible for payroll & accounting operations for the entire company.
Chief of Staff
Since joining Human Bees in 2019, Eileen has overseen and executed some of the Hive’s largest corporate initiatives. With a deep background in change management, Eileen is passionate about helping executives turn their visions into reality, and she has spent her career guiding organizations through the transition from startup into mid-sized company. Eileen holds a degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University and considers herself a forever-learner, always looking for opportunities to optimize, add value, and further develop herself and her teams. When she’s not building new programs here at the Hive, you can find her spending time with her three beautiful children!
President – Sacramento & Surrounding Areas
A global leader in staffing operations and business development, Kelly Gutilla has spent the last two decades building, optimizing and empowering teams to deliver exceptional talent, and came to Human Bees after heading up all talent acquisition with Verily Life Sciences, an extension of Alphabet / Google. Passionate about career development, his expertise has allowed Human Bees to mature into a national and global competitor within the contingent workforce space.
Chief Revenue Officer
Madhur is enabling the continued growth of Human Bees by aligning its various departments to implement the company growth strategy. He oversees the finance function and is responsible for financial planning and analysis, developing KPI’s, metrics and goals to measure and drive performance across the organization. He is also responsible for fund raising and investor relations. An entrepreneur at heart, Madhur has previously founded two companies in professional services (both acquired), one of which managed and acted as the accounting and finance department for over 100 start-ups and main street businesses across the country. His role included acting as a fractional CFO for tech and e-commerce startups, and to help raise series A and B financing rounds. Previously, he has held portfolio management positions at the investment banks of Thomas Weisel Partners, William Blair and Piper Jaffray. Madhur has also been a member of the founding team at startup hedge funds where he co-managed investment portfolios of over $200 million. He started his finance career at the firm of Ernst and Young. Madhur has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and utilizes his knowledge and education to help the company thrive.
Director of Strategic Engagements
Nick has 13 years of experience in the Staffing & Recruiting industry. His specialties include providing human capital solutions, staff augmentation, and consulting – specifically for Government contracts (Dept. of Defense, state/local, FEMA, DOT, etc.), across a broad range of industries. Nick understands the importance of finding a solution for key personnel to help his clients win and retain work, and grow their business.
Nick has proven himself to be a staffing industry leader in growing markets and building high performing teams. He prides himself in starting and growing new, untapped territories and developing and mentoring others. “The highlight of this job, hands down, is seeing an individual become a business professional, achieve their personal and career goals, and knowing you played a small part in that”. When he is not at work, Nick loves spending time outside with his wife and three daughters.
Senior Director of Recruiting
Over his 7 years in the industry, Chris has worked with many clients, large and small, ranging from FedEx, Tesla, Wayfair, to smaller local clients. Throughout his career the one constant has been how much he enjoys working with people. He believes in strong communication, taking customer service to the next level, exceeding expectations, and he encourages his team to do the same. He knows not only how to find talent, but how to develop talent which is a fantastic combination for our team and clients.
Senior Director of Operations
Felix is an experienced staffing professional with expertise in recruiting for Manufacturing & Logistics, Office Administration, Engineering and Technical professionals. He is particularly skilled with implementing strategy using multi-level staffing techniques. Felix is an accomplished, solutions oriented professional and believes strongly in building relationships with his clients and team. He has a proven track record in recruiting, sales & business and is looking forward to helping his clients take their business to the next level!
Director of Information Technology
Brett MacLean is the Director of Information Technology at Human Bees.
Brett provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout the company. Prior to joining Human Bees, Brett spent 25 years in information technology roles within the greater California Bay Area supporting companies such as Intel, SAP, and Ericsson to name a few. His knowledge, leadership, and ability to continually improve our IT operations have been invaluable to the company and has made our rapid expansion possible. His team provides all technical support of the Human Bees infrastructure while also providing top-notch support to our internal staff.
Rita has over 10 years of experience in the staffing industry in a variety of positions including recruiting, along with extensive experience in Human Resources. As our HR Director, Rita oversees all the vital Human Resources functions that keep our hive running smoothly. Rita is an invaluable source of knowledge for our team. Rita is always working hard to ensure that she is available for whatever is needed, from benefits questions to onboarding, she is passionate about helping and keeping everyone educated and connected.
Director of Strategic Engagements
Steven was the second hire for Human Bees and has seen the company grow from the ground up. Steven has helped establish Multiple divisions at Human Bees from High Volume light industrial staffing (1500+ Seasonal employees), to Professional and Consulting Services on the biotech side. He takes pride in partnering with his customers to help them achieve their business goals. Additionally, Steven enjoys training and developing internal staff for career growth. In his spare time Steven is an avid golfer and athlete and enjoys getting outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Kevin has over 14 years of experience in Business Development and leadership in the staffing industry. He understands the challenges our clients face and has successfully led recruiting teams to provide exemplary service to meet the unique needs of each client. He specializes in skilled trades positions, however is able to adapt and accommodate for a variety of positions requested. He likes to stay educated and on top of industry trends and his expertise and leadership ability allow him to assist in growing his clients business as well as our own team!

When Human Bees was launches in 2017, Leo was our first employee. In his time with the Human Bees, he helped develop the Technical recruiting portion of the business, currently overseeing the technical delivery team. Leo enjoys partnering with clients and businesses to develop sourcing and recruiting plans and achieve hiring initiatives. As our first employee, he takes pride in the individuals that we place and in working with our clients. When he’s not at Human Bees Leo enjoys spending time with his family which includes two dogs, and watching sports!
Director of Back Office Operations
Nicole has been an invaluable member of the Human Bees staff, beginning in the payroll department and progressing to build our entire back-office operations team. With a B.S in Accounting and over 9 years’ experience in payroll and infrastructure, Nicole’s expertise in and love of procedure, and processes have helped our team thrive efficiently. Nicole lives by her late grandfather’s motto, “it’s what you have that makes you a good person, it’s what you do with what you have that makes you a success”, and it shows, both inside and outside of the hive.

Senior Account Manager
Katherine has over 10 years of experience in the staffing industry, 3 of those years with Human Bees. She’s familiar and manages most of the accounts for large manufacturers in the Central Valley. She’s focused on identifying great talent and sending quality people to her clients. She believes strongly in setting the expectations and building a true partnership with her clients and ensuring we can deliver what we promised. She is passionate about the industry, because she is proud to make a difference for both families and businesses every day.
Letty has over 12 years of experience in the industry in roles as a staffing specialist, Onsite Manager, Account Manager, and Recruiter. This diverse experience allows Letty to understand not only what client’s need, but what contractors/employees need. She utilizes that knowledge to help everyone find the right fit, working diligently for everyone’s success.
Senior Account Executive
Kelly began her staffing career in event management staffing, supporting professional sporting events. She continues to manage and support high volume accounts in the Bay Area in manufacturing and logistics fields. One of Kelly’s specialties is delivering workforce solutions to major accounts of 250-500+ contractors. She has been praised by her clients for exceptional customer service, urgency “making it happen” attitude. She takes great pride in working closely with her internal Human Bees team, continuing to sharpen her recruiting skills and having fun each and every day, as it has become her passion.
Jennifer has been in the staffing industry for over 10 years and has held a variety of positions ranging from Branch Manager to payroll and recruiter. She loves the industry because it allows her not only to provide excellent service to her clients, but to give back to the community by assisting people with finding employment – a win-win! She takes immense pride in her work and is passionate about providing her clients with exemplary service and great employees!
Ashley brings 12 years of experience in business management and developing sales teams to Human Bees. Her mission is to continuously increase customer satisfaction, and her clients can see the difference! She’s focused not only on ensuring her clients receive excellent service, but that sales teams deliver what was promised. She’s passionate about developing her career, as well as helping others achieve career growth goals. Diego’s career has spent several years in the staffing industry as an Account Manager with a focus on manufacturing, logistics, and technical roles, working in firms with a worldwide presence. He has brough that experience to Human Bees, and is able to utilize the knowledge he has gained to provide the best service to his clients. He believes strongly in building relationships with his clients & focuses on delivery while ensuring processes and communication are in place. He’s truly enjoys working with his clients and looks forward to strong partnerships in the future.

Chantel is a customer-oriented, strategic-thinking sales professional with over 10 years of experience in the staffing industry. She is excellent at building relationships, cultivating partnerships, retaining top accounts, and growing profit channels. She is a multi-tasking, self-motivated leadership professional with expertise on expanding network connections, territory development and understanding customer needs to deliver solutions. She is a Strategic Account Executive with a background in sales and recruiting for high skilled and light industrial positions. According to Chantel: “Helping people is the most rewarding feeling you can have. When it comes to sales I am very well rounded in the light industrial aspect; my goal is to provide our clients with quality candidates and make sure it is a true partnership.”
